Open Financial Exchange (OFX) Server

Ally Invest hosts an OFX server from which your 1099-B realized gain and loss information may be retrieved by our program.

To retrieve information from their server, you will need the following information:

  • Apex Account Number
  • Social Security Number     

Regarding the above, they indicate:
To import your Ally Invest tax forms, enter your Apex account number (e.g. 38912345) in the first field and your social security number in the second field.

1099-B TXF DOWNLOAD

Ally Invest provides a downloadable tax exchange format file containing your realized gain and loss information.

Download this file and submit it for processing by our program.

  1. Go to My account > My account record > Maxit Tax Manager > Tax Reports
  2. Select Tax Year, Download Type TXF, Download Button.
